It takes some effort to become a certified Women’s
Business Enterprise, but we think you'll agree it's worth
your time and WBEC-West is here to guide you through
the process.
The first step is to determine if you are eligible.
Eligibility requirements are determined by WBENC an
organization whose certification is recognized by more
than 750 corporations and government entities. For
more information about eligibility and the WBENC,
click Standards & Procedures above.
When you have determined that you are eligible, follow
these steps to become certified:
1. Complete the online application (instructions and a
link to the application are found in the Application
section).
2. Print a copy of your completed application.
3. Assemble all requested documents.
4. Provide a notarized sworn affidavit.
5. Pay a non refundable processing fee. This fee is
based on your company’s gross revenue from your
most recent 12-month tax return.
